"Moduli Stabilization in String
Theory
I will describe the KKLT mechanism and some recent work which
shows that it is possible to stabilize all moduli in string
theory.

I will describe the present status of inflationary cosmology
including
recent observational data. I will focus, in particular, on
recent
progress in developing inflationary models based on string
theory with
stabilized volume of compacified dimensions.
